Former international Judoka. Over 10 years of coaching experience. Co founder of Matsuru Canada. On air analyst of the 2020 Olympic Games for the CBC Sportsnet and TSN.

Sensei of the in school judo program in partnership with the Dehcho Divisional Education Council

2x Olympic Athlete, 5th at the 2005 World Championships and former Head Coach of Saskatchewan.

Chloe Malin

Assistant Coach

Assists in coaching judo in Yellowknife, is a camp leader for our summertime multi-sport camps as well as providing design and administrative support for the NWT Judo Association 

Has been a part of the NWT Judo Association for 15 years. Currently living and training as a high performance athlete in Montreal

NWT Judo strives to increase the physical activity of people throughout the territory with Judo, and is dedicated to developing judoka from grassroots to high performance athletes. We work to provide a fun learning atmosphere both in the school system, specifically throughout the Dehcho District, as well as hubs in Yellowknife and Inuvik.
